Through this partnership, APMC aims to uphold high standards in medical education, support the continuous development of future healthcare professionals, and ensure a seamless transition from medical school to clinical practice.
TRAINING HOSPITALS
APMC maintains a strong partnership with training hospitals to enhance the quality of clinical education and internship experience. This collaboration includes the training and development of hospital Medical Education Units, facilitation of internship matching, and assessment and standardization of medical rotations. By working closely with hospital partners, APMC ensures that clinical training environments are well-equipped to support medical interns and align with national educational standards, fostering competent and well-rounded future physicians.
COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION (CHED)
APMC works with the CHED Technical Committee for Medical Education (TCME), the government’s accrediting agency for medical education programs. This collaboration is aimed at strengthening the accreditation process, ensuring that medical degree programs meet national and international standards, and promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement in medical schools. Through this partnership, CHED-TCME supports evidence-based evaluations, contributes to policy discussions, and works with APMC to uphold the integrity and excellence of medical education in the country.
